Cocoa. Ghana's the second biggest producer of cocoa in the world, AND importers pay a PREMIUM (some small extra money) for our cocoa because of the quality.

Nigeria is the biggest consumer of Ghanaian chocolate and some cocoa products. There are local Ghanaian chocolate producers too. Nigeria too produces lots of cocoa and has a growing number of local chocolate producers, but the Nigeria market is big enough for all of us grin

Ghana soap (alata samina) is also a big seller in Nigeria

Ghanaian herbal preparations are best sellers the world over. The alomo bitters etc

Waakye (rice and beans cooked together) is a Ghanaian delicacy that people export abroad etc

Shear butter is taken more seriously in Ghana, Burkina Faso and is a big money maker

Kelewele (diced, spiced ripe fried plantain) is a Ghanaian delicacy that is loved

Ghana mangoes/pineapple
Would add more later

Shitor (spicy sauce that is eaten with many things)

Tilapia, tilapia is to Ghana what cat fish is to nigerians.

Coconuts. They're plentiful here and sweet and I know people who export dry coconuts to Nigeria as a business.

There's a Ghanaian company making charcoal briquettes from coconut husks and cashing out big time from exports etc

Big Ghana snails (the largest in the world)

Nkatie burger (fried peanut coated in flour)
Etc etc

Maryam1234: I'm finding it difficult to post pictures, please who can help me out.I think I'm not meeting size specifications.

I think because of resource constraints, large volumes of posted contents slowing down the site etc, the traditional 'attach photo" options have been disabled.

What you can do now is to COPY and PASTE the "LINK" or ADDRESS of the image you want to attach in the editor box, HIGHLIGHT it, then WRAP the IMAGE TAG ( the icon to the immediate right of the red letter A in the editor box) around it, click submit

Example you want to post a coconut picture

1. Search for the image
2. Right click or tap and hold (for phones) on the chosen image and click PREVIEW IMAGE from the options that appear

3. You'd see an X to the extreme top right of the image. Click the BOX WITH AN ARROW to the immediate left of the X.

4. In the Google address bar TAP AND HOLD till a standing rectangular box appears immediately under the address bar.

# if you see a caution sign (triangle with an exclamation mark) in address bar, please choose another image and start the process again.

5. Click it. You'd see "link copied"

6. Paste that link in the editor box, highlight it, then click on the image tag ( the icon above the emoji wearing shades , to the right of the red letter A)

7. Submit

I'd try to post screenshots etc to simplify the process
