Police in Kasoa have arrested a 72-year-old pensioner, Nii Armah Twetwegu, for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl.

Nii Armah Twetwegu, who is the ‘Oshipi’ of Ngleshie Amanfrom, is reported to have defiled the class 6 pupil twice.

According to reports, Nii Armah lured the young girl who had gone to help him with his house chores into his room and forcibly had s*x with her.

Father of the victim, Hanifa Larbi, in an interview revealed how the pensioner's daughter threatened to pour acid on the victim because she suspected her father was flirting with the victim.

Meanwhile, police have commenced investigations into the matter as the victim currently responds to medical assistance.
